The Appleton offers a variety of opportunities for adults to learn something new and practice or fine-tune existing skills. Courses and workshops range from one day to multi-week sessions with local artists, art instructors and special visiting artists. Sculpting in Water Base Clay with Nilda Comas:
Friday, March 23 and Saturday March 24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | $250 per person
Let these one-day workshops inspire your creative side and provide a fun, successful experience. We provide coffee in the morning; ages 21 and older may bring wine to the evening workshops.

Paint a Beach Bag:

Cost per one-day workshop: $40 for Appleton members; $60 for nonmembers. All supplies are included.
Explore acrylic painting through these multi-week workshops for adults. All skill levels are welcome.
Monet’s Water Lilies:
Tuesdays, March 20, March 27 & April 3, 1-5 p.m.
Painting the Light:
Tuesdays, April 17 & 24, 1-5 p.m.
Tuesdays, May 8 & 15, 1-5 p.m.
Cost per multi-week workshop: $75 for Appleton members; $95 for nonmembers.
All supplies are included.
In these six-week sessions for adults, create earthenware sculpture, vessels and other ceramic artworks using a variety of handbuilding or wheelthrowing techniques.

Then, choose from:
Handbuilding: Mondays, 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Wheelthrowing A: Thursdays, 6–8:30 p.m.
Wheelthrowing B: Saturdays, 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Cost per six-week session: $200 for Appleton members; $250 for nonmembers.
Fee includes 25 lbs of clay, glazes, firing and extra studio time on Saturdays from 1–4 p.m.
