Themed Tours

Once a month the Appleton provides Themed Tours of the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, led by special guests or docents. Themed Tours are generally scheduled at 2 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month.

Getting to Know Rembrandt

Join this docent-led tour exploring two exhibitions featuring prints by Rembrandt: Rembrandt and the Jews: The Berger Print Collection and Rembrandt Revealed: Etchings from the Collection of Dr. Robert and Mrs. Mariann McClary.

Appleton Art for Arbor Day

Join this special docent-led tour of Arbor Day themed artworks in the permanent collection. This event is organized by Steve MacKenzie, Professor of Environmental Sciences at the College of Central Florida.

In Good Company

This guided tour highlights works from the permanent collection by artists whose artworks can also be found in major museums around the world.

Themed Tours are free for Appleton members and a pay-what-you-wish donation for nonmembers.
